Public Notice (21/07/11)

The public is asked to be be on the lookout for a "well dressed African male" who is pretending to represent Berea Plumbers and requesting access to apartment blocks and homes on the Berea "to fix leaking tap".   When asked, he has been unable to give the flat number. The cell phone number he gives is incorrect. Berea plumbers has no clue as to who this gentleman is. He has also attempted to find out other information such as the number of units in the block and who is at home.   Berea Plumbers have stated that this occurred about two months ago and a warning was issued on the radio in this regard.  The public is urged to immediately report this to 10111 and all security partners.
