Chairman's Comment
This whole situation is starting to look quite sinister.
It was reported, after the attack on Mrs Horne in August 2009, that someone had been interested in purchasing the house. The request was made in 2007 and turned down by Mrs Horne. Mrs Horne had not seen hide nor hair of the individual since. However, hours after the fire, the individual in question tracked Mrs Horne down to her current address (bearing gifts) and, once again, asked for "first refusal" on the property
Kerry Hancock, our Executive Vice-Chairman has offered the services of a private detective, however his fees are a maximum R5000. We are seeking any willing sponsors.
