Proposed Berea-East Tourist Precinct

The aim of the new proposed Berea-East Tourist Precinct is to provide an orderly, revitalised, safe, clean, well publicised precinct for local and out-of-town shoppers and party goers.

For years, residents have been clashing with nite clubs and action bars creeping
their way up into residential areas.

With the new precinct, there is ample
zoning diversity allowing for all types of businesses to establish themselves and prosper whilst contributing to the greater cause of attracting tourism to Durban's shores.

The concept is very much in it's early development stages and is open for public and civil participation and advice.
